Me and a Room Full of Special Education Admins
This morning I woke up bright and early in Memphis to work with admins, teachers, and therapists on all things IEPs.
I busted out my sticky notes and passed them around the room asking everyone what their biggest struggles were right NOW in their roles at the IEP table.
Want to know what they said?
- Inclusion
- Fulfilling IEP minutes
- Writing goals and objectives
There were a few more, but overall just about every concern could fit into those 3 categories.
Tonight I'm going back to the same place to meet with a room full of parents and I'll ask the same question - "what's your biggest struggle right now".
I can tell you with full confidence that the majority of the answers will fall into those 3 categories.
Parents, Teachers, and Admins all have the same concerns and struggles when it comes to IEPs.
Conflict happens because the way schools solve problems and the way parents are told to solve problems are typically two VERY different strategies.
But, what if the solutions could actually be the same or at least very similar?
What if you could actually help each other out with the frustration you're feeling about inclusion, IEP goals, and missed IEP minutes?
It's possible!
In fact, I teach you 8 Key areas that you can fix in IEPs TOGETHER inside of the Master IEP Coach® certificate program.
Although I wish you and I could meet up in your hometown, there's a good chance that's not going to happen.
Instead, let's work together 100% around your schedule, inside of the Master IEP Coach® Online Certificate program.
With Hope & Determination Always,

P.S. The pic you see was a huge surprise that happened to me while traveling! I was so excited to see two current Master IEP Coaches® from Arkansas take the trip across the river to join me in Memphis. I promise you, when you join the Master IEP Coach® Certificate program, it's not just an online course. We are real people working to change Special Education TOGETHER. Sign Up Here
